Professor
Dr. Gushee finds great joy in teaching and developing relationships with students outside of the classroom. Often after attending chapel at McAfee, he has lunch with students at a diner close to campus. Dr. Gushee is excited to be supervising a Christian Social Ethics track at McAfee. He and his wife periodically open their home to host gatherings for students called Friends of Ethics nights. This tradition reaches back to Dr. Gushee’s time in Union Seminary in NY. Dr. Gushee also enjoys keeping up with his graduates as they move on toward various life paths.
