One of the things in life that brings me joy and satisfaction is teaching and developing relationships with students outside of the classroom. I enjoy advocating for students, writing strong recommendations, helping them discern their calling and reach for their dreams, and sometimes teaching them lessons in humility on the tennis court.
At Mercer University, I’ll be teaching undergraduate students exclusively (as of Fall 2021). My undergraduate courses include Comparative Genocide, Great Moral Leaders, and Christian Approaches to War and Peace. At Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (Free University) and the IBTSCentre, I’m supervising PhD students from around the world, both listening to them and other faculty and giving back to students in the way I was mentored as well (like by Glen Stassen).
